The organization I used to work for, The Smile Train, is going to the Oscars!  The film, “Smile Pinki”, is an Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary Short.  The film tells the real-world fairy tale of two young lives changed forever and takes you inside one of Smile Train’s incredible partner hospitals in India.  Check out the trailer and root for “Smile Pinki!”

A few times a year I have the opportunity to volunteer my services for a worthwhile cause.  I love being asked to do this.  I’m so grateful for all that I have, and appreciate being able to give back.  I recently photographed  a child receiving hospice services, and it reminded me of the fragility of life, and what a treasure each day is.  The photos are private for the family, but here is one that I wanted to share:
