I love what I do and feel lucky to be able to spend my time photographing!
My love of nature and travels throughout the world initially led me to landscape photography, and in the last five years I have had a great time documenting weddings and getting to know the couples, families, children, and pets that I photograph.
My fine art photography has been shown in galleries throughout the United States and my photographs have appeared in magazines such as The Knot, Pittsburgh Weddings, and the Photo District News. I was also selected twice to be an Artist-in-Residence in the National Parks.
Prior to my career in photography, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in China, taught English in New York City, and worked for non-profit organizations such as The Smile Train and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and a volunteer with the National Association of Charitable Photographers (NAOCP).
